Today’s dominating earth tones show us a return to the new “California Tuscan” style kitchen design. This kitchen remodel represents a design inspired by wine, grapes and contemporary features. Modernized Tuscan kitchens just aren’t like the 1990’s that were dark, heavy and excessive in decorations. New in the design world are these Tuscan classic luxury kitchens that show off their airy floor plans that are brighter, warmer and all together produce a quieter feel.

This newly remodeled kitchen design shows a Tuscan twist by using updated materials of marble, stone and neutral colors that produce to the space a warm and comfortable feel. It’s custom decorative stovetops backsplash, made of tumbled Durango marble tile, is complete with its custom handmade “anthology mural” by Stone Impressions. My client being an “Independent Wine Advisor and Ambassador” was able to personalize their backsplash mural with both artistry and craftsmanship from Stone Impressions by using two of their private labeled bottles of Chardonnay and Zinfandel. The wine labels coloration and style represent the elegance that roots from Italy.

By blending both the new and old Tuscan design we are always, as designers, focusing on creating that timeless feel. This kitchen space is accessorized with iron, stone and wood to give emphasizes to its cleaner modern Tuscan design, A new kitchen trend but one that certainly can’t deny its tranquil European design.
